← Back to About Us

Dr. Ramona Wallace, DO, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and Functional Medicine practitioner with more than 30 years of clinical experience. As Chief Medical Officer of Brain Treatment Center Michigan, she oversees every clinical protocol delivered at both the Sterling Heights and Grand Rapids locations, personally reviews every EEG, approves every individualized treatment plan before it begins, and conducts each patient's results appointment at the end of treatment.

Her work integrates conventional medicine with advanced diagnostics, including metabolomics and genetics, to better understand complex neurological and systemic conditions. Dr. Wallace has a strong clinical interest in neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and PANS/PANDAS, as well as immune and inflammatory contributors to neurological dysfunction. She also works with adults seeking cognitive optimization through EEG-guided neuromodulation and lifestyle-based interventions.

Dr. Wallace's research background includes publications on nutritional deficiencies, metabolomics, and functional medicine protocols, with contributions to peer-reviewed medical literature. As a DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine), she brings a whole-person perspective to every patient she sees — whether that's a child on the autism spectrum, a veteran managing PTSD, or someone rebuilding their life after a traumatic brain injury.

EEG review

Every quantitative EEG brain map is reviewed personally before a treatment protocol is designed.

Protocol design & approval

Every MeRT treatment protocol is built and approved around each patient's individual brainwave data.

Functional medicine evaluation

Root-cause factors — inflammation, mitochondrial health, sleep, and hormonal balance — are evaluated alongside every MeRT protocol.

Results appointments

Every patient reviews their before-and-after EEG data directly with Dr. Wallace at the end of treatment.
